  An Evening With Enigma

Enigma, sharply clad in a dark pin stripe suit, is  introduced by the host.   You will realize immediately that he knows something you do not.   He  will explain the unique difference between a Magician and a Mentalist and he will  demonstrate that difference:

On a table, in plain view, is an ordinary box of playing cards.   Enigma is several yards away from the table and the box.   A volunteer is randomly selected and asked to think of any one of the fifty-two cards in a deck.  The volunteer is then asked to audibly reveal the card they are thinking of to everyone.

Enigma remains across the room.  The volunteer is asked to step to the table and remove the cards from the box that has been in plain view at all times.

He is instructed to count out the cards - aloud and one at a time - until his card is reached, then hold it high for everyone to see.  He counts out the cards.  There are only  51:  it is his card which  is missing!

The volunteer is asked to meet the mentalist in the middle of the room.  He is asked to reach into Enigma's  jacket pocket and make sure only one object is there and then remove it.  He inserts, he feels, he removes the only object.  It is his card, thought of, revealed and missing from the box!

The volunteer returns to his seat amidst thunderous applause and laughter.  He shakes his head in disbelief  and is in  shock for the rest of the evening...because it happened to him.   He  knows  nothing had been pre-arranged.  He looks to you for an explanation as to how what just happened,  happened?   At that moment you realize you made the right decision when hiring Enigma to amaze those at your event.

That is the opening demonstration and it just becomes more astounding from there.  Enigma's demonstrations are structured for maximum impact and fun.
